Be the change you want to see in the world.
~Ghandi

How lovely to think that no one need wait a moment, we can start now, start slowly changing the world. How lovely that everyone, great and small, can make their contribution....how we can always, always give something, even if it is only kindness.
~Anne Frank

The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to him his own.
~Benjamin Disraeli

Mentoring is a time-proven strategy that can help young people of all circumstances achieve their potential. Volunteer mentors are caring individuals who, along with parents or guardians, provide young people with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and a constructive example. To become a volunteer you must:

  • be 18 years of age
  • be with or without experience working with youth
  • complete the screening process
  • complete a mentor training with our Program Coordinator

Mentors and families are provided with continuous support throughout the mentoring relationship.
